Tulip Update 2nd May

The spring gardens are looking lovely – wisteria, clematis, azaleas, viburnums etc. are all out and our bluebell walk is open. HOWEVER, many of the tulips in the gardens are over now – the early spring then the hail, wind and heavy rain has shortened their flowering season. There are still a few lovely patches of late tulips and the marquee of cut tulips is absolutely full to the brim with wonderful varieties to see, but the main garden displays of tulips are definitely past their best now.
