October opening

Our gardens are open through October from Monday to Friday – 10am to 3pm (NB the cafe and Gift Shop are closed for the season now though, so it is the gardens only, and we are not open at all on weekends).   After our main opening season is often an interesting time to see the garden team starting their winter work – digging up and re-planning flower beds etc.

HOWEVER we have had some very wet and windy weather recently so just wanted to pop a note on here to say, while visitors are still welcome in October, please be aware that we (especially the dahlias) have been rather wind blown and the lawns and grass pathways are all very soggy (wellies definitely recommended!)
